GripIt Fixings has turned to crowd funding to back the next stage of the brand’s development.

Through Crowdcube, the company is aiming to source £1.5 million from the public. At time of writing, the firm has raised £328,440 from 269 investors.

The aim is to raise funds to develop and launch new projects. GripIt’s Crowdcube pitch reveals that the company currently has patent pending on three products and is now exporting to 32 countries worldwide.

There are 27 days left to raise the remaining cash on Crowdcube.

It’s the second time that GripIt has turned to crowd funding to raise cash for the business. The last time was ten months ago when it successfully raised £1,995,600, smashing its £1,500,000 target in just five days.

Eden Project, River Cottage and Sugru are among the British companies that have successfully raised funds on Crowdcube.

The business famously received backing from Deborah Meaden on BBC TV’s Dragons’ Den. We quizzed GripIt founder Jordan Daykin on his success so far in the most recent edition of Torque Magazine, which you can read here.

GripIt recently signed a distribution deal with TIMco in the UK.
