TIMco, one of the UK’s largest independent wholesale suppliers of screws, fixings and power tools accessories, is expanding its sales team and welcoming three new employees.

Steven Allenby and Rees Taylor join the team whilst Jamie Dickerson has been promoted to the position of Regional Business Consultants. In addition, Josh Knight joins the TIMco team as further expansion to their nationwide network of Merchandisers. This is part of TIMco’s plan to develop closer relations with their clients and stockists across the UK.

The four new employees come with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in sales and merchandising and will look to further develop accounts in their given areas of operation from the north of England to the south.

Steven Allenby joins as an experienced Regional Business Consultant with over 27 years of field sales know-how and industry experience. He will take responsibility for overseeing the sales operations across the North of England from Cumbria, Northumberland and the Scottish Boarders.

Rees Taylor’s main area of operation as Regional Business Consultant is the South and is essentially a London-based position. Taylor has 7 years of experience under his belt and an excellent record for year-on-year growth.

Jamie Dickerson started his career as a merchandiser for TIMco in early 2015 and with a rapidly developing portfolio, he quickly earned the promotion to Business Consultant. His main areas of cover will include Wales, Hereford and Shropshire.

As part of TIMco’s continued commitment to supporting its distributors, Josh Knight joins to further strengthen its nationwide network of Merchandiser and Regional Sales Support. Josh comes with several years’ experience within a merchant background and will provide an essential service in supporting its valued customers.

These additional positions reflect TIMco’s desire to further improve customer satisfaction and provide bespoke business growth plans for continued success within its nationwide network of Independent Distributors.

Simon Rance, Sales Director of TIMco, commented: “Investing in people who are passionate about our products is essential to TIMco and intrinsic to our values. We take pride in training our staff to the highest standard so that we can pass that knowledge onto our customers. We have brought in three additional Business Consultants to reduce the size of regions, freeing up more of their time to focus on their existing customers.”
