Schotte Automotive Fasteners has started the transition phase of its Integrated Management System for the new IATF (International Automotive Task Force) standard and ISO 9001/2015.

In mid-February, TÜV Saar performed a second control audit based on ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/TS16949 at Schotte Automotive head office. Beside the current tasks, the new ISO 9001:2015 and the IATF 16949 cover more and more space, the firm said.

By late February, Schotte Automotive said implementation of the new regulations was well underway, with many new processes that are part of the new ISO and IATF regs already part of the firm’s daily routines. The recertification audit along new ISO and IATF will start at beginning 2018.

Schotte Automotive Fasteners has specialised in production and distribution of metal fastening components for over 60 years, not only in automotive but across many industries.
