NORMA Group has bestowed its Global Supplier Recognition Award on NB Norder Bandstahl for being its best supplier in 2015 in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
NORMA Group bases the award on a criteria covering product quality, reliability, growth and sustainability, among other aspects. Norder Bandstahl achieved record scores in the review for calendar year 2015, standing out in particular for its “perfect service”, short delivery times, reasonable minimum order quantities and outstanding customer communication.
Wolfgang Geiger, Vice President Group Purchasing at NORMA Group, presented the award in Norden, Germany, on September 15, 2016. He said: “We are convinced of the excellent product quality, delivery reliability and dependability of Norder Bandstahl. We have been working together successfully for 15 years. The high level of technical expertise, service orientation and flexibility of Norder Bandstahl’s employees are exemplary in the steel industry.”
Stefan Glave, Managing Director at NB Norder Bandstahl, accepted the award: “It makes us proud to convince an important customer and long-term partner like NORMA Group with our services. By investing in our production and advanced training, we will continue our development in order to meet our business partners’ needs as effectively as possible.”
Norder Bandstahl supplies the NORMA Group plants in Germany, Sweden, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom and the United States with over 200 different slit strips in ribbon and oscillate wound packaging. The slit strips are installed in virtually all products from the categories NORMACLAMP and NORMACONNECT, such as TORRO hose clamps, for example. NORMA Group has been presenting its Global Supplier Recognition Award to outstanding suppliers since 2014. The awards for the years 2013 and 2014 in the EMEA region went to EMS Chemie Holding AG and Neida Products Engineering Ltd.
