Building Adhesives Limited, owner of the BAL and Dunlop brands, has appointed a new General Manager.
David Hackett is now taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, which manufactures tile adhesives, grouts, sealants and ancillary tiling, flooring and decorating products under the two brands.
Hackett was previously Sales & Marketing Director of the business and that role will remain under his control with an active day-to-day involvement in the customer facing side of the business.
Peter Bell will remain Managing Director of the ARDEX Group UK businesses.
Hackett said: “The market leadership that Building Adhesives enjoys is due to great people, innovative products and a fantastic customer base throughout the UK, all of which are continually evolving to suit the challenges of the day.”
ARDEX MD Peter Bell added: “Brexit clearly makes for uncertain times, but the fundamentals remain strong in the UK. I’m sure the high degree of focus from David as General Manager will continue to put Building Adhesives in a strong position to meet the needs of the market.”
