Liam Wheeler has been appointed Managing Director of Montrose Holdings and started his new position on 5 September 2017.
Wheeler has plenty of experience of Montrose, having previously been its Financial Director.
The former owner and MD, Charles Ainsworth will continue to work for the Bufab Group as Business Development Manager with a focus on business growth and acquisitions.
Montrose Holdings became part of the Bufab Group on 5 December 2016. Today, the company has 70 employees, located in High Wycombe, Southampton and Bedford, England (following the acquisition of Thunderbolts Ltd in May). In addition to fasteners, the company provides special components in a wide range of materials as well as products for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO). Customers are spread over many industries, including electronics, aerospace and construction.
“I am certainly looking forward to getting started in my new role; I see it as both a challenge and an opportunity,” said the new MD. “Whilst we are all aware of the volatilities of the C-Parts market, I feel that with the right planning, focus and motivation a business can prosper. Having been with Montrose for over 12 years, I have seen this first hand, as the company has grown and evolved. As Montrose enters the next phase of its development, we have a strong management team in place and along with the added resource and expertise from our new sister companies I can see no reason for Montrose not to continue its positive trajectory.”
