Ingersoll Rand has introduced a new cordless 3/8-inch impact tool – the IQV20 W5132 Impactool.
The tool has 550 foot-pounds of “nut-busting” torque and 365 foot-pounds of max reverse torque. According to the brand, it delivers up to 50% more torque compared to the leading cordless 3/8” impact wrench.
Ingersoll Rand added that the IQV20 matches the power capabilities of many pneumatic impact wrenches so technicians can get jobs done quickly, with fewer tools. Technicians and operators can use the IQV20 W5132 3/8” and ½” Impactools to quickly loosen and tighten a variety of fasteners with four accurate power and control settings.
“Technicians are under more and more pressure to get the job done efficiently, and a versatile tool like the IQV20 W5132 allows them to apply maximum power to a number of applications, getting the work done quickly and without having to switch to other tools,” said Brian Fetner, global product manager for cordless power tools at Ingersoll Rand. “The new Ingersoll Rand W5132 Impactool is an advanced tool designed for a variety of workers in industrial and vehicle service industries.”
There are four power modes for forward control and the tool also features a shadowless 60 lumen Chip-on-Board (COB) LED task light that provides a 360-degree ring of light to the area that needs servicing.
The compact brushless motor transfers energy efficiently, delivering accurate torque for several repair and maintenance applications including tire and wheel lug nuts, engine bays, brake hubs, axle wheel nuts, interior dashboard components, support brackets, undermount installation and repair, flange bolts, diesel engine repair, machine rebuilds, rail maintenance, industrial machine maintenance, manufacturing equipment repair, machinery installation and equipment disassembly.
