Screw specialist Heco has revamped its website at www.heco-schrauben.de.

Featuring a refreshing design making full use of pictures, the new website has improved, intuitive menu navigation and a responsive web design that adapts to the screens of smartphones or tablets. Other features include an optimised download area and retailers, planners and craftsmen can now find their relevant information more easily.

Image elements make the site easier to navigate – the homepage is clearly structured and simply guides the visitor to the individual sub pages via the menu bar.

The ‘Screws and accessories’ section lists the complete range, including MULTI-MONTI-plus, HECO-UNIX and many more, with detailed information, application examples, approvals and assembly instructions also available.

A new useful service is the ‘dealer search’ whereby users can enter a postcode or city to find their nearest specialist dealers, filtered according to selected product families.

Also included is information on the HCS design software as well as the new searchable online product catalogue.

Targeting individual industries

“One concern in the course of the relaunch of our website was that our customers find the information they need very quickly,” explained Andreas Hettich, Head of Product Management and Marketing at HECO. “This is why we have divided the industries into specialist retailers, architects and planners as well as craftsmen and offer individual tools and information to individual customer groups.”

Architects and planners, as well as professional craftsmen, for example, can use the HECO assessment service and receive individual technical advice on request. Traders can also access the HECO dealer support and switch to the newly developed online product catalog with just one click. Here, users of all sectors find the relevant information, such as technical descriptions, product images, dimension drawings, approval notes and downloads directly from the selected product. Within the “Retail” menu item, dealers can search for contact persons or training courses and directly process online orders via the nexmart specialist portal. The download area is optimised for user-friendliness: Here, the search for relevant information can be made simply by selecting the desired document type – for example technical equipment, brochures or flyers – as well as by individual languages.

With a practical seminar and training offer for trade and crafts, the company’s HECO Academy offers the opportunity to get to know the variety of the products and their application possibilities under real world conditions. Further information on the training content and the upcoming dates will be available in the “HECO Academy” section of the same name. Vacancies can be found in the section, “Career”.
