BeA has launched a brand new cordless glue gun, the b-tec 807, pitched as ideal for light to medium-duty timber-to-timber fixing applications, including those encountered by joiners and joinery shops.
The b-tec 807 Glue Gun can also be used in a multitude of other trade fixing tasks, such as attaching low voltage cables for security and telephone systems or holding underfloor electric heating elements in place prior to screeding, for example.
The glue gun uses the commonly used RYOBI 18V 1.5Ah lithium+ battery, with a four-stage charge indicator for monitoring of battery life. Fast recharge times are promised – a full recharge takes just 60 minutes.
The b-tec 807 uses the widely available 12mm (1/2”) glue stick size and benefits from a speedy warm up time – once its illuminated power switch is turned on, the b-tec 807 Glue Gun is ready for use in three minutes.
Other features include an adjustable full hand lever trigger and a soft grip handle. It also has a narrow profile and extension nozzle designed to make it easier to apply glue accurately.
BeA is offering the b-tec 807 Glue Gun as a complete kit with a battery, charger and case or as individual guns. Separate battery and charger sets are also available.
Paul Shepherd, national sales manager at BeA, said: “BeA already offers a range of high performance fastening tools and consumables for customers in the construction sector.
