Ballard Industrial has acquired the assets of Jaxx LLC located in South Seattle and the combined firm has begun conducting business as both Ballard Industrial and Jaxx.
The purchase marks a significant expansion of Ballard Industrial’s hydraulic jacking rental fleet while expanding its available repair, test and certification capabilities including certifications conforming to ANSI/NCSLZ540-1 and traceable to NIST.
Jaxx LLC, founded in 2004 by Jorn Ingebrigtsen, specialises in high pressure hydraulic systems and industrial specialty equipment, primarily focused in the construction, industrial and aerospace markets. Like Ballard Industrial, Jaxx’ s consistent growth has been organic, driven through customer referrals, the efforts of dedicated employees and supplier support.
The acquisition provides both companies an opportunity to build on their strengths and success. Mr. Ingebrigtsen said: “I’m pleased to join the team at Ballard Industrial. Ballard Industrial is assuring its current customers and suppliers that it will continue to operate as before the acquisition, but with the additional services and depth of expertise contributed by Jaxx.
