New to this year’s Automechanika Birmingham – which drives into the NEC in two weeks time – is a Connected & Digital Technology Zone, set to showcase the latest cutting edge automotive technologies.
Put together by SMMT alongside Automechanika Birmingham, the zone will be hosted in Hall 6 and will feature products coming to market, but also those that will enable the design, development and manufacturer of the vehicles of tomorrow. For visitors, the area offers a look into the future, offering up ultimate technological solutions for the whole of the automotive industry.
From new cars like the Range Rover Velar and automotive workshop solutions to electric prototypes and advanced ‘touchy-feely’ production robots, the Connected & Digital Technology Zone is pitched as chance to look at the future of the automotive market and doubtless of interest to suppliers for the sector. You can preview the Zone at the Automechanika site.
The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) is a trade association in the heart of the UK motor industry, representing over 700 automotive companies.
Automechanika Birmingham takes place over 6-8 June 2017 at NEC, Birmingham.
