Hot on the heels of its acquisition of a German compressor distributor, Atlas Copco has now bought Air Power of Nebraska, for an undisclosed price.
The acquisition will see 12 staffers join the company. Air Power sells, installs and services compressed air products and related systems in central USA.
Atlas Copco’s broad business includes brands such as Chicago Pneumatic, Desoutter, Fuji Air Tools, Rodcraft and SCA, among many others. The group bought self-pierce riveting business Phillip-Tech (Beijing) in November 2016.
“The solid team at Air Power of Nebraska will be a great asset as we help customers be more productive,” said Nico Delvaux, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area. “We look forward to strengthening our presence in the region with high-quality products and services.”
